What is the best time to meet between Paris and San Francisco?
Strict 9-to-5 working hours do not overlap. Late afternoon in Paris is early morning in San Francisco. Select the meeting date, compare the full interval, and agree on a compromise. “Find best times” compares fixed 09:00-17:00 working hours and regional working days.
Does the planner account for daylight saving time?
Yes. It uses named time zones and the rules in your browser for the selected date. Europe and the United States change clocks on different dates, so their time difference can temporarily change. Keep your browser and operating system updated when countries change their rules.
How do I compare Paris, San Francisco, Boston and London?
The planner starts with these four cities in that order, with Paris as the reference time zone. Choose a date and time to see the equivalent in every city. You can add other locations, including New York and Berlin, or remove a row and restore it with Undo.
Can I share a meeting without a time zone mix-up?
Copy the city-by-city times, share a meeting link, or download a calendar event. The event records an exact UTC start and end. Shared links include the selected cities and meeting details, so only include information you intend to share.
What happens when clocks change or a date is February 29?
The planner validates Gregorian dates, including leap years. A skipped clock time produces a clear error. When a clock time happens twice, choose its first or second occurrence using the displayed UTC offset. Meeting duration is elapsed time, even across a clock change.
Can I compare other cities and export a calendar event?
Search cities around the world, or enter an IANA time zone such as Asia/Kathmandu or UTC. Your city list stays on this device. Download an .ics event or open a Google Calendar or Outlook draft to review before inviting colleagues.
City data adapted from GeoNames, under CC BY 4.0. Time conversions use your browser’s IANA time zone data. Working hours are fixed at 09:00-17:00, using regional working days for city search results and Monday-Friday for time zones without a country. Public holidays are not included. This tool compares typical working hours and does not read anyone’s calendar availability.
